HOLIDAY PARADE

MIRACLE ON 136TH STREET

The Falls shopping center launches the holiday season with local school bands, bagpipes, a Chinese dragon, junkanoo band with stiltwalkers, mariachis and plenty of costumed characters for kids. Meaghan Jette Martin, star of Disney's Camp Rock, will be grand marshal of the Miracle on 136th Street Parade, after which, Santa will take up residence.

Details: The parade starts at 4 p.m. in front of Bloomindale's, followed by performances by Martin, Brazilian dancers, and a presentation from The Nutcracker. The Falls, 8888 SW 136th St. Free; 305-255-4570; www.shopthefalls.com.
