Two men shot and killed in Liberty City area
Two men were killed during a Friday night shooting in the Liberty City area, according to Miami-Dade detectives. Both died at the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where they were transferred after the 7:50 p.m. shooting. Neither was immediately identified.

Robber overpowers 7-Eleven employees in Fort Lauderdale
Police are searching for a man who robbed a Fort Lauderdale 7-Eleven just after midnight on Friday. At 12:20 a.m., the robber held a knife when he crept up on an employee in the store's stockroom, demanding cash from the register, Fort Lauderdale police reported. The man, who wore a shirt on his head, also threatened a second employee in the store while the other rummaged through two cash registers.
